QILAAT - A Spiritual journey

This CD contains recordings of Greenlandic drum dance and differs from other drum dance releases, as it implements mood sounds and other instruments which together create a new and inspiring universe.

The late Egon Sikivat performs on two songs and the late Anna Kuitse Thastum performs on three songs. These are two of the greatest Greenlandic drum dancers ever, and this is the first time Anna Kuitse Thastum has appeared on a studio album. In addition, Peter Qaavigaq Sadorana and Pauline Motzfeldt Lumholt contribute on the CD.

The cover contains explanations of the songs as well as English translations.
