Homo Sapienne takes place in Nuuk and has five Greenlandic main characters. It is a novel about youth life, friendship, sexuality and love. They play with the language, laugh, cry and love.
Homo Sapienne is Niviaq Korneliussen's debut novel, and with the novel she was nominated for the debut award and the Nordic Council Literature Prize. The novel was originally written in Greenlandic and then rewritten by herself in Danish. In addition, it has been translated into English with the title "Crimson".
